No Such thing as a “working relationship.” South Australia’s Riot City Wrestling (RCW) have laid down the challenge to MCW at the Dragonfly and the MCW are out to respond. When the working agreement between MCW & RCW was signed at the start of the year, fans were overjoyed, finally Australia had 2 independent companies working in unity to take wrestling to a broader audience. May 24, 2012. It was the night Riot City Wrestling and South Australia made its presence known in the MCW ring at the Dragonfly. Night of Grudges started with a MCW vs RCW tag team match where RCW champion, Chris ‘Mimic Basso’ and Andy Roy (aka Only the Strong) accompanied by Eliza Sway took on MCW’s Kracko Lantern.

Matt Silva is having the time of his life in 2012.
2012 has been a year to remember for Matt “the Juggernaut” Silva. In January he defeated Slex to claim the MCW Championship and backed this up in April at New Horizons defeating former TNA superstar Sonjay Dutt.

Ballroom Brawl is set for July 14 at Thornbury Theatre
Melbourne City Wrestling returns to the Thornbury Theatre on Saturday July 14 with our no holds barred mid year supercard titled ‘Ballroom Brawl’.
Since 2010, Ballroom Brawl has been a staple of the MCW calendar, but this year, we will be adding several members from the Riot City Wrestling roster to the event. RCW is based out of South Australia, and over the last decade, they have built their brand of professional wrestling into one of the most recognisable shows in Australia today.
