TRAITOR

Amateur shots of Danny Psycho helping a 5 against 2 attack by RCW on MCW’s Team Silva at Riot in Melbourne tonight.

In a turn that has shocked everyone in Melbourne City Wrestling tonight, Danny Psycho has entered the MCW vs RCW feud and sided with Adelaide’s Riot City Wrestling.

Danny Psycho teamed up with RCW champion Chris ‘Mimic’ Basso losing in a fair contest to MCW’s Team Silva. Post fight though, Danny Psycho joined in with 5 members of RCW to help lay a viscous attack on Matt Silva and Adam Brooks. Their attack continued on to Slex as he tried bravely to support his MCW friends.

More news to follow from Riot in Melbourne at the Dragonfly tonight where RCW fired back at MCW as only they know how.

GD Grimm to face Slex at Riot in Melbourne

GD Grimm’s interactions with MCW have been full of controversy

At ‘Riot in Melbourne’ on Friday June 29th, Riot City Wrestling’s top big man, GD Grimm will be facing off against the recently reformed Slex, one of the very best wrestlers in Australia today, in a special preview match ahead of our first ever ‘Ballroom Brawl Rumble’ match, taking place on July 14.

During his ongoing tenure at RCW, GD Grimm has shown he is wild, reckless and unpredictable, and demonstrated that in his MCW debut back in March. After attacking MCW staff and security at ‘Tension Rising’, Grimm then attacked the injured Tommy Hellfire, as the former MCW Champion was attending to his understudies. Was this a declaration of intent? Or a gross misjudgement made by GD Grimm of his own accord?

Danny goes ‘Psycho’

Danny Psycho handing Andrew Phoenix victory at Night of Grudges.

In recent months, Danny Psycho has displayed behaviour that can only be described as completely bizarre. After not showing up to his previously scheduled match at Vendetta in January, Danny would then walk out of a six man tag match (alongside Team Silva) in the lead up to New Horizons. At New Horizons, Andy Roy reached out to Psycho, telling him that they could form a formidable tag team, but Danny instead responded by hitting the Ace Crusher on Roy’s valet, Eliza Sway, as well as Shazza McKenzie. Propaganda?

It’s us against them. Let’s get behind MCW!

Word from the Riot City Wrestling camp is that we here at Melbourne City Wrestling are only giving one side of the story. This is the truth: MCW neglected to mention the recent visit to South Australia from MCW stars Carlo ‘Cash Money’ Cannon and his protégé Ryan Rollins, but we at MCW were far more concerned with facts.

In our last article, we spoke of attacks on unsuspecting victims, match interferences and cheating tactics utilised by our ‘friends’ from RCW. While they said Carlo and Ryan left a bad taste in the mouth of the fans and management, the one thing OUR wrestlers did not do is take liberties after their matches, opting instead to walk away with their heads held high. Win, lose or draw, that is the MCW way. Continue reading →

Misfits set for wrestling debut at Ballroom Brawl

The Misfits Stunt Crew are set for their wrestling debut at Ballroom Brawl.

At New Horizons in April, the stars of ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ and ‘Balls of Steel’, Jeff and Steve, the duo collectively known as the “Misfits Stunt Crew,” would perform their brand of out of control entertainment for the MCW faithful. But on the night, the Misfits were interrupted by Jay Andrews and Mike Burr, known to MCW audiences as ‘Hard Way Inc’. A pull apart brawl resulted, after Hard Way Inc insinuated that the Misfits had no place inside Melbourne City Wrestling.
