IPW New Zealand talent to appear at MCW Ascension on March 14

MATCH-DOWIEMATCHWith Melbourne City Wrestling now promoting monthly events at THE home of professional wrestling in Victoria, the Ukrainian Hall in Essendon, it is unsurprising that professional wrestlers from all over the country, as well as other parts of the world, have been contacting MCW Management, trying to get noticed within the promotion. On Saturday March 14th at MCW Ascension in Essendon, two professional wrestlers from across the ditch will be making their inaugural debuts for the company.

The first competitor is “Pure” TK Cooper, a three time Tag Team Champion within Impact Pro Wrestling New Zealand. His travels have seen him journey to the United Kingdom in the past, in order to continue honing his skills. He is known for being able to combine hard hitting strikes with aerial offence. The second competitor is Olivia Shaw, who has become a staple of IPW’s women’s division in recent years. Shaw, a strangely obsessed cat lover, was last seen in Australia competing for PWWA, where she came up short in a match against Shazza McKenzie.

MATCH-girlstripleMCW match makers have decided to throw both competitors right into the mix at Ascension: Olivia Shaw has been added to the previously announced singles match between Siren Monroe and Kellie Skater, making it a triple threat match. Meanwhile, TK Cooper will find himself competing in a triple threat match himself, against both the debuting “Human Bullet” Link Barnett from Wrestle Rampage in South Australia, as well as one half of the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in MCW history, the returning Dowie James, which is sure to be a show-stealing battle between three of Australasian Wrestling’s top up and comers in recent memory.

Tickets for MCW Ascension can be purchased now, including some great ringside seats still available. On a night which will also see KrackerJak make his first defense of the MCW Championship against long time rival Mr Juicy, as well as The World’s Friendliest Tag Team defending against The Estate, this is going to be a night not to be missed!
