Hardcore Holly will be facing KrackerJak in our main event at the Craigieburn Leisure Centre on November 30.

After weeks of speculation about the main event for MCW Final Battle on Saturday November 30, Melbourne City Wrestling management have reached a decisive conclusion – KrackerJak will be facing former WWE Superstar, Hardcore Holly, in the main event at Craigieburn Leisure Centre. But the match will come at a cost to KrackerJak; still unimpressed with “The Mad Bastard’s” actions at our last show in Tullamarine, MCW Management have decided that this match will have no rules, no boundaries – it will be a No Holds Barred match in which ANYTHING GOES!

KrackerJak Breaks His Silence

kj-gam

KrackerJak’s vicious attack with a fork on Mr Juicy at MCW Worlds Collide last month left fans angry, scared and disappointed.

The last time anyone saw the man appropriately labeled as ‘The Mad Bastard’, he was storming out the front door of the Tullamarine Public Hall, having just bloodied the fan favourite ‘

Mr Juicy’ Gino Gambino in the middle of the ring, and leaving behind a stunned, shocked and angry MCW audience. MCW management were forced to post an apology over Facebook to all MCW fans for KrackerJak’s actions however KrackerJak himself had not been seen or heard from since that infamous night.

In an interview that was conducted earlier this week, KrackerJak finally breaks his silence, to discuss his actions at MCW Worlds Collide, the upcoming Final Battle event on November 30, and his future in Melbourne City Wrestling as a whole. Continue reading →

Fresh off defeating Matt Silva, Adam Brooks, is keen to continue his hot run.

With six of the MCW Ballroom Brawl Rumble participants announced for Saturday May 11, we are pleased to announce another group of combatants, who will be competing in this match. The rules are simple: twenty people will be entered into the match at one minute intervals, and the only way to win is to ensure the 19 other entrants are all thrown over the top rope, with both feet hitting the floor. The winner will get a shot at the MCW Championship title at a time of their choosing. Continue reading →

Clash of the Titans results

Clash of the Titans was MCW fans last chance to see Matt Silva before he heads to WWE.

Clash of the Titans was MCW fans last chance to see Matt Silva before he heads to WWE.

After bidding a fond farewell to the Dragonfly Restaurant last month, Melbourne City Wrestling moved a short distance to the Tullamarine Public Hall on Spring Street, holding ‘Clash of the Titans’ in front of a jam packed, standing room only crowd on April 13th.

In the opening match, Andrew Phoenix faced one of Australia’s most renowned professional wrestlers, TNT. The New South Welshman put up a valiant fight against Phoenix, but in the end, he fell to the Celtic Cross, albeit with some help from Zoe O’Neill at ringside. Continue reading →

The war with RCW rages on at The Dragonfly

Brad Smyth in his last MCW appearance at Ballroom Brawl in July.

For over 6 months now, we’ve seen the rivalry between Melbourne City Wrestling and Riot City Wrestling continue to take over our events. On numerous occasions, we’ve seen the MCW Championship on the verge of being won by one of the South Australians, but due to the tightly knit MCW roster and fanbase, it has always managed to remain in Victoria where it belongs.

Now, on October 26, we will see more members of the RCW try to make a name for themselves at the expense of the MCW mainstays. One of them is no stranger to our fans: Brad Smyth. Smyth made his presence felt at MCW Ballroom Brawl in July, as he scored a cheap win over Andrew Phoenix, with help from his fellow South Australians. Now, he faces a tougher, more insane challenge, as for the first time ever, he will face the Mad Bastard, KrackerJak! Continue reading →

Benny Coles makes his MCW in-ring debut at World Collide

Benny Coles is set to make his MCW debut at Worlds Collide on November 16.

Ben Coles will be no stranger to many of our loyal fans. He has been plastered all over billboards, in newspapers, and on television advertisements as ‘Iron Jay’, promoting I&J’s food products.

At ‘Grand Final Eve Showdown’ in September, Coles appeared as a guest of Melbourne City Wrestling, but was immediately targeted by Andrew Phoenix. Phoenix feels as though he’s been overlooked by MCW ever since his debut, claiming he’d been cheated out of wins since April, and then introducing his new valet Zoe O’Neill as his back up plan. Propaganda?

It’s us against them. Let’s get behind MCW!

Word from the Riot City Wrestling camp is that we here at Melbourne City Wrestling are only giving one side of the story. This is the truth: MCW neglected to mention the recent visit to South Australia from MCW stars Carlo ‘Cash Money’ Cannon and his protégé Ryan Rollins, but we at MCW were far more concerned with facts.

In our last article, we spoke of attacks on unsuspecting victims, match interferences and cheating tactics utilised by our ‘friends’ from RCW. While they said Carlo and Ryan left a bad taste in the mouth of the fans and management, the one thing OUR wrestlers did not do is take liberties after their matches, opting instead to walk away with their heads held high. Win, lose or draw, that is the MCW way. Continue reading →
